This water has over 15 different and unique attractions ranging from extreme water slides for thrill seekers to areas perfect for the littles. All of this on 35 acres of Smoky Mountain woods.

Choose to take on the double 70 ft free-fall slides on Fire Tower Falls, take the whole family on a white water rafting experience on Raging River Rapids or relax on the river as you take in the beauty of the park on the Downbound Float Trip. Get the whole family soaked at Soaky Mountain. This waterpark has 20 different attractions raining from thrill rides to family attractions and pools on 50 acres.

Some of the thrilling slides at Soaky Mountain include the Edge, Blue Mountain Mayhem, and Avalaunch (Soaky Mountain’s own water coaster). There are plenty of things to do with the littles as well. Some of these include The Hive (a water play zone) and Boomer’s Bay (a pool with many different small slides).

Of course there are also many different things to do at Soaky Mountain that the whole family can do together as well. But you cannot forget the classic lazy river and wave pool. But Soaky Mountain’s lazy river and wave pool are more exciting than your typical lazy river and wave pool. Black Bear Rapids (the lazy river) is not lazy, but full of adventurous rapids and Soaky Surge (the wave pool) can generate up to 6 foot tall waves.

Wilderness At The Smokies

This water park resort is a special place since it is a lodge that, as a resort guest, you get admission to its water park. But that’s not all. Wilderness At The Smokies does not just have one water park but three.

The first of Wilderness At The Smokies’ water parks is Wild WaterDome. Wild WaterDome is a 66,000 square foot indoor waterpark that is open all year long and is also Tennessee’s largest indoor water park. This waterpark is also known for its see-through roof that lets the sun in. This waterpark is home to three water slides, a wave pool, a surf pool, and a multi-leveled water play zone that includes dump buckets.

The second of Wilderness At The Smokies’ water parks is Lake Wilderness. Lake Wilderness is an outdoor waterpark located at River Lodge. This outdoor water park is home to three thrilling water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and the children splash and play water zone Treehouse Springs.

The third and last of Wilderness At The Smokies’ water parks is Salamander Springs. Salamander Springs is an outdoor water park located at Stone Hill. This outdoor water park is home to two tube water slides, a water play zone that has its own huge dump bucket, an activity pool, and a zero depth pool that has two mini slides and three bouncy seats for the littles.
