2024 is a leap year because it's divisible by 4. There are additional rules around leap years aside from divisibility by four, but these only matter once each century so for another 76 years we can just go by the 'divisible by 4' rule :)

Daylight saving time in 2024
Moving the clock forward anb back for daylight saving time is still in effect and in 2024 it starts on Sunday, March 10 and ends on Sunday, November 3. Efforts to implement permanent daylight saving time are slow-moving. Timing also needs to be coordinated with the United States due to Canada's close proximity and close trade relationship.
