KEN JEONG, who is currently appearing on the UK version of The Masked Singer, has opened up about his wife Tran’s battle with cancer.

Stand-up comedian and actor Ken Jeong is having great success as a judge on The Masked Singer. Ken’s huge success comes more than a decade after the actor quit his job to be there for his wife Tran as she battled breast cancer.

Tran was told she had a 23 percent chance of survival.
Not long before her diagnosis Ken had given up his job as a doctor to pursue a career in comedy.
The couple was also taking care of their twin daughters Alexa and Zooey, who were just one-year-old at the time Tran got the heartbreaking message.
The Masked Singer judge said: "It was the worst time of my life.

“I’d quit my job, my wife had cancer and we had twin girls. I thought, 'What did I do?'"
At the time of Tran’s treatment the role of Leslie Chow in huge success The Hangover came around.
Ken revealed only the film's director Todd Phillips and his co-star Bradley Cooper knew what was going on at home.
Bradley would drive Ken from the set in Las Vegas to his home in Los Angeles to be with his wife.

Ken later said that his wife's battle influenced the way he played Chow.
He said: "I was just getting a lot of stuff off my plate.
"I was venting at the rage of my wife having cancer.
“In a way, Chow is like an exorcism of those demons."
Three years later Tran was finally cancer-free and Ken’s career continued to blossom.

When did Ken and Tran marry?
Ken became engaged to Tran Ho around 2003 or 2004.
The couple have twin daughters named Zooey and Alexa.
The twin sisters were born in 2007.
